Just wondering if anyone knows off hand which 2 wire colors are for the reverse lights on the 6 pin connector harness going to the taillight.

I don't know if it matters but its for a 2002

either way.. I somehow think I got it wrong because my backup camera only works when the headlights are off. If I turn them on it says I don't have any signal. WTF

OOPS...i fixed the link now.

U probably tapped into the tail light wire. Again, use a voltmeter to see which one gives u 12V when in reverse.

I also had to tap into my lights to get the cam to pop up on my head unit.

No, it gave me 12v in reverse.

It works during the day just fine (when the headlights aren't on)
I get signal from the camera and can see everything.

I turn on my headlights and then the signal goes away.

EDIT: seems I got the wrong ground wire. Thanks for the link sakataj

EDIT AGAIN: PS, I did try searching I guess just not hard enough.

You'd have to do some custom stuff to get it to fit in the keyhole.. I thought about doing that but just ended up mounting it to the bottom side of the trunk bar..

What I meant about the custom stuff is making a bracket or something and trimming off the existing one. I didnt' bother.. because also you don't have it pointed downward if its facing out of the keyhole.
