Default Front clunking,clinking noise fixed...

I've been trying to figure the dreaded noise coming from the front driver's side for a while. I know most people are having this same problems and can't figure it out,but end up changing all kinds of suspension parts and spending lots of money thinking control arms and so forth. Well hears my story...
I was hearing this clunking noise when I brake or when I'm turning to the right,so I thought It probably my control arms or ball joints. Well,I found out that it wasn't since my control arms and ball joints still looked good. I started to take a look at my rotors and started to wiggle it and found out that was the problem of the noise.I notice the rotor was really loose and was hitting the caliper So,I went to the auto parts store(Kragen) to look for something to hold the rotor in place and i found this retainer in the "Help section" where they have screws, nuts, bolts and so forth. This retainer looks like a thin circular flat clip that goes over the wheel bolt,so it will hold the rotor in place so it won't be loose. After installing the retainers and driving the car around,Don't hear the noise anymore. I also notice before the install on my other gs when ur brake pads wear down more and more,u will start to hear the noise louder and louder as ur pads wear down. That is the cause of the noise if ur suspension is still good. So all of u whose having the noise, try using the retainer and see if that will fix the problem, because it sure fixed mine...

So the rotors were wobbly? By design, our rotors are held in place by torquing the wheel lugs. Once you take the wheels off, the rotors will be able to move a bit

Are you sure the lugs were properly torqued before?
