Hi can anyone tell me where i could get a brake booster abs pump just asked the lexus stealers and they said about 2000 pounds as i live in the uk.
The car makes a screaching noise from the abs pump and the vsc and brake warning lights come on with a horrible high pitch alarm can any one help me as i really dont fancy paying 2000 pounds,can you have them reconditioned or has anyone got one for sale my car is 1998 gs300.

yeah my car just started having the exact problem making that exact noise kinda unbearable to drive even though they say u can but not far or to fast...yeah for the noise to go away u can take the fuse out for the abs but as in fixing it yeah its kinda hard im still debating on what to do myself... same car and years as urs

rang lexus they said they said they never heard of the problem.yeah right i have found out it is a manufacturing fault that occurs after about 5 years on lexus gs from 1998 to 2000 just when the warranty runs out amazing how they time it so well bloody lexus stealers.Anyway see what happens it still brakes fine and are very hard to skid specially with nineteens on.**** it.

well came back from the dealer ship i found out that it was the master cyclinder and it would cost me 3200 to fix
