Buying a GS online
I see some people mention they bought their GS online and was wondering what sites were recommended for doing this. Don't really know anything about buying cars online it always made me a little nervous but I'd like to check it out. Im in New Jersey if that matters. Thanks

Here's a link to an article by a car buying expert, James Bragg. He addresses online car buying and more. http://www.clarkhoward.com/beat-the-...-from-online-c

Awesome thanks guys. Yea I doubt I'm going to buy online but figured I'd check it out anyway. I went to the dealer to test drive the 2015 gs350 but they don't have any older models

+1, I did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I found a CPO 2015 GSF on Cars.com. I haggled the price over the phone and I got my own financing and picked up my car the next day. It actually went really smooth compared with my last auto purchase.

Never buy cars online from a Small auto dealer! ESPECIALLY if its owned by middle eastern people! They usually buy damage cars and repair the damage then try to resale it online. I got burn big time a long time ago buying a BMW M3. I figure I could save a few thousand dollar by buying online. I was told the car was in showroom condition and when I got it I had to spent an extra 4k for dents, dings, and repaint some area of the car due to non matching color.

I bought mine online from Dallas Sewell. They had an internet sales guy who handled online sales and he did an excellent job and was very easy to deal with. I knew exactly what I wanted and I told him about an offer I had on an identical car from another dealer, and he beat that deal by well over $2000. My car had just been offloaded from the boat in California so it took about a week for it to get to Dallas. Easiest car buying experience I've ever had.

Another thing to look for when shopping out of state is the dealer fees or lack of. Some states/cities don't have a $500-700 dealer fee. That can turn a good deal into a great deal if no fee is charged. TN for instance.
