GS AWD not too slow
Well I managed to go to the drag strip finally with my GS AWD.
The track had great conditions. DA was -1200 plus.
I did not play with the settings. Car was in Sport+, M1 traction fully off.
All launching at 2k power braking.
Best was 13.84 at 99.7mph and worst of 3 runs was 13.903 at 99.4mph.
My car has light weight wheels and tires which are 20lbs lighter than stock. Other than that it is stock.
I have not had a chance to upload the slips yet. I will post them soon.

Thats as fast or faster than my Twin Turbo 1990 300ZX back in the day. I ran 13.9 @ 99.6mph back in 1994. Its amazing how cars have improved since then. Its good to know our 2013+ GSs are as fast as a 300zx without the help of Turbos and less weight.

Sorry I didn't get the video! I'll get it at the next event. I promise!

I used M mode. Since the trans shifts at redline it was a good mode to be in. No early shifting. All gears were redline shifts. Car lost steam once it hit 4th but that was right near the end of the 1/4 anyway.
I have photoa of the slips. I will get them posted tomorrow. I went to dragtimes to get the DA for the track today. I will post the DA adjusted times for reference.
No sweat about the vids Myxalplyx. We will have many more chances.
Here is one of the slips. I know the top is cut off.
Correct your ET and MPH using the DA (Beta Testing) (From Dragtimes.com)
Density Altitude: -1353 eet above sea level
1/4 mile ET: 13.842 seconds
1/4 mile trap speed: 99.79 MPH
Adjusted time based upon the above.
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
14.044 @ 98.289 MPH
Extensively Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
14.006 @ 98.694 MPH
Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines

Nice run and reaction time!
Where did you run? Do you recall the actual altitude of the track?
Our stock GS's don't look like they should be that fast !
Just the other day I had a fancy looking Z28 that LOOKED like it was fast, wanting to play at the stop light. We pinned it on green and the GS steadily pulled away

It is ATCO raceway in NJ. This track is 33 ft above sea level according to Dragtimes.com. One of the fastest tracks in the country because of its low altitude. I recall pro drivers have made multiple record ET runs at ATCO in the past.
I will also run this year in Oldbridge raceway and a few more times at ATCO under varying temperatures to get a better feel for performance in the summer versus the cooler times.
I know the F-sport's design focus is not in a straight line. I just don't like to rely on magazine numbers when it comes to 1/4 mile performance. Far better to have your own set of slips to provide clear results for where you live and your car. Besides, once I get may reaction times down into the 0.01X ranges consistently I will start winning some money with my GS in the local bracket racing events. Been doing the same thing with every car I've owned so far.

Absolutely. Next time will be in May. If you are in Philly then Etown raceway is about the same distance as ATCO to you. I will pm you a week or so before.
