Slow down in the city lol. There is a button under the dash in the driver footwell that disables PCS.

Type in page 256 on the site.

Or page 280 of your manual.

The button is located under your steering wheel. There is actually 3 buttons, AFS on/off, TPMS reset button, and PCS on/off.

I turned mine off long time ago. This system creates nothing but problems and it's in fact dangerous in the city.

It's the Pre-Collision System. It will return your seat to an upright position, tighten your seat belt, and apply the brakes to reduce injury in an impact.

I've only had my car for a week, but I'd be curious as to what condition would cause it to come on during city driving. I have seen the red brake warning when I was passing an oncoming car on the other side of the median of a curvy road.
