I see. The only negative I can see is the reducing of the already bad fuel economy, but it might not be that much. Definitely go for the Michelins. When I was changing the 2013, Michelins were on special and they were a few dollars cheaper than bridgestones and dunlops. The tire shop had to special order them due to the weird size. Not sure if that size is more available.

Well I have an appt at the tire shop tomorrow, and if they give me a good chunk of dough for my Dunlops with just 400 miles on them, I may end up with a new set of Michelin Super Sports in the larger size... wish me some luck, never done a tire trade in!!
Any tips from those that may have tried this in the past?

Just as a follow up here, trading in my brand new Dunlops was a no go..
The tire shop offered me a measly $25 per tire, even though I wanted to purchase a whole new set of Michelins! They stated the odd tire size is a tough sell, and that I would have had better luck with a more common size.
For that price, I will use these things until they wear out, then upgrade the size down the road...

Better late than never though I say buddy, and thanks a lot for the posting! I think that looks great, a perfect amount of meat on them 19 inch wheels! Do you have a shot of the entire car by chance to see the overall look?
I have 6k miles on the Dunlops now so I haven’t gone through my first set yet, but this confirms exactly what I will be doing for tires when they do expire on me! Thanks again pardner

Inramana, I've been running 33psi all around, and might pump them up a bit next winter (if we ever gonna have one ).
Couple more pics of the sides.
Atomic350F, with only 6k on your Dunlops, you can probly sell them for ~275 on craigslist, maybe?
Got the PS A/S 3 on Ebay fronts and rears separately, but $950 for all, with free shipping. Plus a $50 install and minus $200 I got for the used Dunlops, the whole change only cost $800.... for a quieter drive, all-season traction, and a whole new set of tread .

Thanks for sharing pics with us. Out of curiosity, are you in northern or southern CA? I was curious if you had considered the Michelin Super Sports (especially you're from SoCal)

I'm in the Bay Area, where we get some rain but no snow, so Michelin SS would be a good choice too. I do realize the SS handle better and might be smoother and quieter too, but our family don't drive the car that hard to demand a high performance summer tire. A good all-around tire with higher tread rating in the PS A/S3 are a better choice for us.
If we drive the car hard or if we have a sports car to do some spirited driving on the weekends then no doubt Michelin SS would be my choice.
