Default RC200T F Sport (245/275 Possible?)

A co-worker asked me to look into tires for his 2016 Lexus RC200T as his tires are nearly bald after 25k miles.

I'm aware of the unusual (smh) tire sizes that are fitted to these RC F Sports... so I am wondering if 245/275 is better for him (price and selection).
He is not lowered and he does not have spacers (he has no plans on modifying his car). Will he have any rubbing issues with the OEM F Sport wheels (19x8 & 19x9)?

235/40/19 to 245/40/19
265/35/19 to 275/35/19

Just wanted confirmation as I've used the search tool on these forums and have yet to come across anyone running 245/275 on the RC200T F Sport.

Thank you in advance.

I can't say for sure, but I will be doing the same sizes when it's time to change my wife's tires. I don't think he will have any problems at all.

I'll keep you updated. Tires have been ordered. Will post results next Wednesday!

I know it's not the exact combination you are running but close. I'm running 245/30/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear with no problem lowered on Swift Spring. I've had no issues with my fitment or rubbing.

Close enough! Sidewall shouldn't effect him much as he is not lowered. Thank you for the reply sir! I'll post pictures for reference once we get them installed (tomorrow).

Apologizes I completely forgot about this post. E-mail alerted me. They fit beautifully... and appear to fit even better than the stock 235/265 that comes with the F Sport wheels.

I'd recommend everyone go the 245/275 route once it comes time to swap tires. 235/265 is honestly the worst tire choice Lexus could have made but hey it pays the bills (ha). Not only is selection absolute trash for the stock sizes (F Sport wheels) but so is the price. Go 245/275 and call it a day! I will post pictures on Monday or Tuesday to show how the tires sit. The stock tires appeared to have a bit of "stretch" but these V12's (Evo 2) sit nice and flush (all tire brands stretch or bulge differently... I've always loved how the V12's sit when properly sized, they look great stretched as well).

All in all we paid $762 and had Discount Tire match onlinetires.com's price. This is the method I use... If you have access to a Discount Tire they also offer warranty for dirt cheap and wheel re-balancing is free for life... highly recommended. Now I haven't recently searched for better prices elsewhere but onlinetires.com has always delivered so I play it safe... for those local to them in CA I'd recommend their services as well.

Thanks for sharing! I just bought a RC350 F-sport RWD and was looking for all season tires to replace the summer tires, since we get some snows in NY, but can't find any 235/265 all seasons - they are all summers. Would love to see some pictures of the new tires on that 200T. Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me! :P

This is what 245/40/19 & 275/35/19 looks like on F Sport wheels. Tires are Hankook V12 Evo 2's (they are slightly more narrow compared to other brands, but you get the point, they fit extremely well!).

Thanks! They look perfect. I was worried that the 275/35/19 tires at the back might be too wide to mount properly on the 19 by 9 rear rims but looks like they fit without any issue.

Yeah I was a bit worried myself but I knew they "should" fit haha. I just didn't think there would be so much space left. You could probably fit 255/285s... easily. Hopefully this posts helps people when swapping tires! Save some money guys..
