Paint Protection on brand new GS 350 F Sport
I just recently picked up a 2014 GS 350 F Sport and I couldn't be happier.
I have been an Acura customer since 1999 and I'm glad I made the switch. Acura is wonderful, but Lexus is on another level.
I shopped around. From the Audi A6 to the BMW 535i and to the Caddy CTS-V, Lexus seemed the best, all-around car.
I'm not thrilled about the front bumper though. I was looking at the F Sport front lip kits and the Think Design is the one I like the most. With that front lip and the RSR super down lowering springs combo, I'd be content (even with the stock F Sport wheels).
**edit** Is anybody on this forum using any paint protection film (like a 3m or similar)? The roads in TN are pretty notorious for debris, so my front-end will get peppered with rock chips or what have you.
What do you guys think?

Ive covered every inch of my GS with Premium Shield ppf and could not be happier. But fair warning is i drove around in my GS for 1 week without it waiting for my appointment to have ppf installed. This has caused me some paint chip in the bumper. Do it asap before its too late. Doing the whole car cost me about $2500 including labor. All painted surfaces including head lights fogs and front lexus emblem was covered
by the highest quality ppf.

I'll go ahead and google premium shield ppf.
It's only been driven from the dealership to the garage, and even then, I was prepared with several rolls of that 3m blue painters tape that I placed "tastefully" to all the high risk spots lol!!

Highly recommended. Learned fm past experience...car didn't leave dealership w/o PPF. Ensure installers 'wrap' edges to avoid visible lines (I opted for bumper only). For the rest of the car, I'll just use touch up paint.

$2500 is a superb deal... I was quoted $1800 for the just the front end.
