Condensation.. Leak? A problem anyway!
Need some help to direct the dealership toward a problem noticed this morning...
Scenario... Late morning...about 75 degrees out but quite humid today.... Spent a couple of hours at a farmers market... Car left parked in the sun.. outside temp rose to about 82 degrees.
Returned to car and drove off... air conditioning set to 75 degrees.. circulating outside air.
First RIGHT turn, my spouse said water was "pouring" on her LEFT foot (reality about maybe a tablespoon based on carpet dampness). Drive for a bit.. LEFT turn.. Same effect on her RIGHT foot. Feet are fully extended into the back of the front passenger footwell area.
Additional turns did not immediately repeat but then did after a while (like it was building up)
Obviously not acceptable and I will be in contact with my dealership. But I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem pop up. Car is exactly 1 year old. (It should be potty trained!)
Any thoughts or similar experience??
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks Steve!
Sounds about right based on what I have read. I appreciate the quick response.
BTW... We have the exact same build, trim, colors, etc... Love this car! Just wish they would upgrade the electronic features! (Enform, rear camera, etc...)
Thanks, Jim

You have good taste then!
Yeah, I'm a longtime Lexus driver so the electronic features don't really bother me since they are upgraded from my previous Lexus vehicles. Our other car, the Jeep has tech features so archaic that they make the Lexus look absolutely state of the art LOL.
I'm sure the dealer will take care of the drain line for you, it was worse that time because of the humidity causing more condensation than normal. Get it taken care of ASAP so the carpeting doesn't get really wet and cause any mold issues...

Debris, deposits from dirty condensation water, poor design.
