Forced Induction Options
#16
I have seen so many people swap older motors into newer cars. Why don't you ask Daigo Saito with his IS250C and SC430 powered by a 2j with 1000+ on both cars I think the JZ series was one of the best motors that Toyota has in my opinion. You get the bang for the buck plus you have thousands of parts for it. I'm just saying if you want force induction in the GS our 2GR wont cut it unless you spend a lot of money.

I couldn't agree more. If you're going to do all of that you might as well start by buying a new car that is fast from the factory or buy an older GS and do the swap. Taking a new $60K car to put a 2JZ in it doesn't that much sense from a financial standpoint or common sense.

Mild gains for supercharged in my opinion. That's probably due to a conservative tune or other limitation. A kit probably would not be viable unless it clears 400WHp. Still a good first effort though.
