Cold Start Issue
In the morning or after a several hour rest my 1995 GS300 will not start on first attempt just cranks or if it does start it runs rough for a few seconds only to die. I turn the ignition off then re-attempt and it starts right up and runs like a champ every time. Ideas on my problem???

mine does the same. started a little over a month ago. I have a code 71 for EGR and a knock sensor code (code 24? or 22?...dont remember)
2Jkarma and Kevin Bogle, could you guys check for any codes. if we all have the knock sensor code come up, then maybe that is what the problem is. I have 2 new knock sensors, but I would hate to install them, and find out that is not the issue.
Could be my battery as it has been died 2 times in the last 2 weeks, but it is a 2 month old, brand new, optima yellow top.
If there are no codes for you guys, then maybe it is the battery.
If any one finds out please let us know.
Thanks
