MAF Sensor Voltage Range
Hi
Does anyone know what the expected voltage range output from the MAF sensor would be on my 1993 GS300? I need to test it and see what it kicks out. I know there are expected ranges at idle and certain RPMs, and if it does not produce the sensor is considered bad, but I can find out what the spec is. I would certainly appreciate any help.
Thanks
Jeff

Here you go:
1.Disconnect the Volume Air Flow Meter connector.
2.Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals THA and E2.
10 - 20 k ohms at -20°C (-4°F)
4 - 7 k ohms at 0°C (32°F)
2 - 3 k ohms at 20°C (68°F)
0.9 - 1.3 k ohms at 40°C (104°F)
0.4 - 0.7 k ohms at 60°C (140°F)
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the Volume Air Flow Meter.
3.Reconnect the Volume Air Flow Meter connector.

Thank you!
Thank you Mole, I appreciate the response. In the meantime, I was able to locate a very well detailed test procedure that used my exact sensor as a test case
