What are the pros and cons of deleting the egr system? Would this mean the car wouldn't pass emissions tests? (needed in pa) and how would one go about doing this, I googled and only found egr delete kits for ford diesel trucks

just makes the bay look clean and the motor seems to run smoother to me.. but get ready to pull the check engine bulb out of the cluster LOL

So the light would stay on forever? That sucks lol would that fail an inspection?

You can just wire a 10k-ohm, 1/2 watt resistor across the egr connector to get rid of the CEL.
