Exclamation Supra 6sp LSD in GS300 pumpkin?

Will a Supra TT 6sp LSD drop into a 1st gen pumpkin?

Also, will the FD ring gear from the stock GS bolt onto the Supra LSD?

Basically I just want to install the LSD into my stock pumpkin, and am hoping to get a definitive answer. I would really hate to get that thing down and torn apart only to fnd out that something will not fit. This is my only form of transportation, so it can only be down for a weekend.

Thanks, but I am pretty sure that the limited slip differentials themselves are the same. What I want to know is if the diff will fit into a GS pumpkin.

No! I went through this myself. The only lsd you can use is the supra TT auto lsd, the aristo lsd, or the 5 speed n/a lsd. The 6 speed lsd will not fit.

So what you are saying is that, not counting gear ratio, a 6sp LSD is different from an auto LSD?

Does the same apply for the pumpkins? The auto TT pumpkin case is a different part number compared to a 6sp pumpkin case?

Honestly it just doesn't make sense to me that Toyota would build 2 different Torsen diffs; one for manual and one for auto.

yeah toyota has been doing that for years look at the supra mk3 the manual non turbo lsd is like a 1way then the turbo manual and turbo auto are 1.5 way but the 1jz supras manual had torsen diffs and the 1jz auto had clutch type lsd its how toyota has always been im sure they had there reasons though mostly thought about diff gear ratios through transmissions and what diff would work best for that
