Default Interior lights 2016 models

Does anyone know how to remove the front an rear dome light covers?! There is no spots or indentations to slip a flat head to pry them open! Any pics and details would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I want to change the middle light to LED. I can tell it's a regular light bulb.

Interior lights are all LED. The lights on the lower door, puddle lamps on the mirror, and trunk light are incandescent, though.

mostly all the lights are LED except the puddle lamps, trunk, and the very middle front and rear dome lights! I am asking kindly if anyone knows how to take off the dome lights cuz there is no spot to put a flat head anywhere to pop them open! Thanks

I found this that might help you:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SArSvPJBGLw

I too would like to increase the output of my dome lights. I was able to get the lens off of the front dome light and it was already equipped with LED bulbs. Both seemed to be non-replaceable. Haven't figured out the rear dome yet, but there are probably mounting clips under the housing. That's how it was on my prior two vehicles. So the "lens" doesn't come off, the whole housing drops and you access the bulbs from the back of the circuit board.

Yup, took my front dome light apart as well only to find the same....LED, not replaceable without cutting wires I think.

To the OP, the dome light covers come out by prying from the sides. Used a plastic panel tool, but it was a PITA. And there are a couple of different layers to pry open under the cover (at least on the front one). I ended up leaving it alone....

The trunk light, on the other hand, is a 10 min bulb replacement. I put a 12 led board in that came with the adapter, plug and play. What a difference!!

The driver and passenger mirror lights are also regular bulbs, think they used to be LED's on the 2013-15 though
