The 8 speed in the 200t and the RWD 350 are both the AA81E transmission, but I can't say there are no differences in mounting and what not that would prevent them from being interchangeable. Someone else would need to chime in on that.

Quick check shows that both the GS200t and GS350 RWD have the same ratios for all speeds.
A couple variations however in weight, the 200t's 95.4 kg or 210.3 lb, the 350's 93.6 kg or 206.4 lbs.
An interesting difference in fluid capacity as well, the 200t's 8.7L or 9.2 qt., the 350's 9.5L or 10.0 qt.

That is so bizarre as far as weight and fluid capacity goes. I'm not a mechanic, so I'm curious if turbos call for anything different. But then again you mention the ratios are the same...
