Somewhat on the same topic...

Yesterday I was messing around with vehicle settings and came across modes that you can set the car to default to when it turns on. There were 3 settings. Engine, suspension, climate (I think). I was excited that this may mean that I no longer have to turn the dial to Sport+. However, I don't think that is what those settings are for. I switched the Engine setting to "Power", the suspension to "sport" and left the climate on "normal". These settings did not automatically turn on Sport+.

Anyone actually know what these settings accomplish?

Finally picked up my F Sport today and have a question in regards to ECO mode. I understand that the gauges change display depending on what mode type you're in. But whenever I switch to ECO mode, the gauge doesn't change to the cool blue like everyone says. It just looks like normal. Is there an adjustment to this?

Thanks

My "normal" and "ECO" a blue radiant light emanates from the top of the instrument cluster. The hue changes to red when placed in Sport and Sport+.

I'm in the settings (via steering wheel) but I don't see where I can change the gauge display. I see where you can change the needle color though.

The change isn't that dramatic all it does is show a blue hue on the top of the screen when its in eco and red hue when in the sports mode.

How would I get to that setting?.. After looking on page 92 of the gs 350 manual, it shows that whenever you switch to ECO mode, it will display a light blue haze on the outside of the gauges. I can't get eco mode on my car to replicate this...

Thanks

its in the steering wheel settings, keep pressing disp until you get to settings then go to ECO LAMP and SPORTS LAMP and make sure they are on. This is ECO mode

Sports+ mode

Whoa! I had never noticed the red/blue light changing right above the gauges! I saw that on my cousins CT last night but didn't think that the gs does that. That's so cool. I guess I haven't drove my car at night yet so didn't notice.

But I was talking about is the gauge itself. When in eco mode there is a light bluish ring around the gauges and changed when in the other modes. You know what I am referring to?

Thanks

No I never seen the ring light up like that, just the Hue on the top and the screen change on nav screen.

Note that 13-15 models have a different instrument cluster than the 16s.
