Default In need of favor from 16 owner

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a favor from a 16 owner, If anyone is willing to take some pictures underneath the liner of the wiring and connectors from the inner ( trunk lid ) taillights.
The reason of me asking so is I'm trying to do the tail light swap on my 13 but the wiring is completely different on the newer lights. I'm still trying to figure out what had been changed on the wring and some pics or even diagrams would help if possible.
As far as the outside tails goes they are plug and play although I havent tested for hyper blinking turn signals.

Thanks.

I would like to know as well. Love the look of the 16's taillights.

The inner tails light up in addition to the outer ones when the brakes are pressed on the '16 from what I can tell. That alone means there's going to be some significant wiring changes.

It would be awesome if a vendor like Nigel JDM or a company like Spec-D or 78works made a "refresh" '16 GS style tail light that was plug and play with the '13 - '15 model year GS..similar to what they've done with the 2nd Generation IS...

Does this help? We had a 16 in our shop getting PDI'd and I snagged these pics. Best I could do as I didn't really want to tear into a new car too much...

As soon as I'm done you will.
I want it to be OEM looking so as little hacking and soldering as possible, maybe a custom harness to make it all plug and play.
