Pros and cons of upgrading exhaust?
Thinking about upgrading my exhaust. I have no clue what setup to get since I'm new to the Lexus world.
Obviously the pros are additional HP and sound... The cons? Less gas mileage? Voids warranty?
What setup are you running?

As for pros I assume first and foremost you are looking for a better (actually louder) sounding exhaust. Second, you are looking for a good 'note' or 'pitch' of the exhaust. Third, you may be looking to improve how the exhaust looks.
As for Cons I would seriously look into whether the exhaust makes a droning noise. An exhaust that drones will likely drive you (and your riders) absolutely crazy. Also, whenever you open up (free up) the exhaust to have less pressure by using larger diameter pipe you will lose a bit of low RPM horsepower and torque - however the peak curve moves higher in the RPM band.

OP I would go on YouTube and listen to different set ups and pick something you like then talk to people that have the set up. Joe Z seems to be the go to for most on here.
Personally I plan on the GTHaus catback with the EV control so I can open it up and make it loud and close it when I want it quiet.

Agreed! Plus revving.

Make sure you get all the necessary gaskets, esp if you are mating the invidia mid pipes to stock mufflers. I mated a Megan mid pipe to stock mufflers and the shop had to find gaskets for the muffler connection as the exhaust donuts were either too small (because of the larger diameter of the mid pipe) or too big (because of the small stock pipe on the muffler). In the end they used a 2 hole gasket instead of donuts. Before the gaskets there were exhaust leaks at the muffler connection because I was running pipe to pipe.

I had the Greddy w/ Invidia Mid Pipe on my 2IS and loved it. I actually like the sound of the Invidia better than the Joe Z so I went with an Invidia Axle Back on my 4GS. It sounds good but a bit quiet and I really like the full cat back tone with these engines. I'm putting the Mid Pipe on later this week and hope to have close to the same sound as I had with the Greddy/Invidia.
