Default Unlink windshield washer with headlight washer?

Hi Guys, when I use the function of washing my windshield with the windshield washer fluid, it only washed my windshield until recently when my battery was disconnected and then reconnected.. now all of a sudden, when ever I wash my windshield, the headlight washer also goes on. I want to unlink these and want to use them independent of each other. Anyone know how to do this?

The headlamp washers should only work in conjunction with the windshield washers when the headlights are on. Try them without the headlights on and see if they go off.

The only way to unlink them is to physically disconnect the headlamp washers.
