Default Headlamp Washers

Is there any way to disable the headlamp washers when you pull back on the wiper stalk to clean off the windshield? My delivery specialist tried to tell me the only way the headlamp washers would work was if the headlight stalk was in the parking light position or the on position and then you'd have to hit the head lamp washer button. Mine come on in the auto position with the windshield washer fluid. Just a minor annoyance, and I'd like to separate the function if possible.

Usually, washer jets are little hemispherical devices with a hole on both sides (input and output). Sticking a small needle into the side that faces the headlight and rotating it should adjust it, same with windshield wiper sprayers.

One thing I liked about a few Infiniti designs is the first washer revision, they placed the washers on the arms themselves and aimed them straight down at the windshield. The next model year they placed them on brackets just under the lip of the hood, underneath, aimed slightly upwards. The arm design was my favorite but led to special parts bins and expensive fixes if you ever accidentally whacked one of them. Super clean look and operation.

When using mine they look more like the misters in the vegetable isle at the grocery, I don't see how they're worth it. Is it more of a way to clean the snow off the headlights instead of cleaning off bugs?

No one knows if there is a way to separate the two from coming on at the same time?
