Pole Position
iTrader: (5)
UPDATE....the **** basically snaps on the front of the radio and can be removed easily. However when it is attached, it basically snaps on the **** but there is a huge outward offset, almost like the **** could theoretically have a mechanism in which it could collapse and come out if it had a spring loaded mechanism. There are 2 very weak tabs in the **** that hold it in the correct outward spacing position. I used 3m double sided tape to pull it out so I did not damage the **** or the surround using a screwdriver. Reattached it and done. I put a little piece of sponge in the "hole" of the ****, so if it happens again it wont collapse all the way down.
There was a similar thread with this issue and the dealership replaced the radio, I would only wonder about the rationale behind that, perhaps the **** cant be purchased separately.
