Looks like the Lexus gremlins are at work in my 2009 RX350.

The volume **** is intermittently not working. The steering wheel volume control
works fine but the **** acts up and then starts working again. Any ideas before
I take it to the dealer and hope it is reproducible there.

Also, the rubber strip beneath the roof rack came off at the car wash today. It needs to
be glued back in. Is this covered by warranty ?

The Basic Warranty coverage is for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first from the inservice date for your vehicle. If you are still under warranty these items are coverd.

Thanks RX330inFL, I am still under warranty and also have the CPO warranty.

I was just curious if any one else had the volume **** issue and also if the trims
were covered.

Trims are covered. Just not wear items like tires and brakes.

So today, the other ***** (tuner) started to act up too randomly. I am guessing the radio needs to
be replaced.

Planning to take it to the dealer later this week and hopefully it will act up there.
Will post update.

Stereo problems are not unheard of and are more frequent than one would perhaps like.

Get it to the shop before your warranty expires. Even if it starts working go and complain and get it on record while the warranty is in affect.

Got the rubber strip replaced today under warranty. They have also ordered
a radio to be replaced under warranty.

Last week, the radio display started acting up sporadically and my smart
wife took a picture of it in action (attached) which sealed the case.
