I think the opposite of what that reviewer said in that article. I think the current generation infotainment system and navigation in the new Lexus vehicles especially in the GS and LS is quite refined. I think the previous navigation and media in lexus past gen vehicles very archaic and crude. Yes the remote controller takes alot to get use to and honestly it took me a few days before getting use to it. It is second nature to me now and i can use it without any trouble, felt like an extention of my hand now. I dont think auto journalist spend enough time in the car to fully get comfortable and get use to the remote touch controller, so of course they will say bad reviews about it. I think when lexus releases the touch pad version of this system it would make it even better.
