Default US Spec Navigation system changed to european map

Anyone had any success in converting the Nav system on a US Spec Lexus for use in Europe or another part of the world? I have a 2008 RX400H and the dealer in the netherlands is having a hard time attempting to figure out how to get the nav system working in europe. He thinks it is a software issue that requires a new download to the GPS?

That'smy country of birth the Netherlands.
I think your nav will never work there because the Netherlands is about 10 years behind in technology.
The last time I was there was in the year 2000 back then they didn't know what a nav system was, what an automatic transmission was and when you bought a new tv it didn't have automatic tuner you had to sit hours with the remote trying to adjust every channel to the correct frequency to get it to work like to old tv's here in 1987 si I think everything that's satelite like Nav and xm and stuff like that won't work there because the thegnology just isn't there.
That's the reason you don't get any car in the Netherlands with nav in them.
