Default 18" wheels on RWD F Sport? Winter set

Hey guys, quick question.

A month ago I ordered an approved set of 17" tires and wheels from tire rack for the wife's RWD F sport and they didn't fit over the calipers. Come to find out, tire rack apologized and said they had made a mistake and had not properly measured/tested different sizes on this car. I'm guessing they used an AWD model with the smaller front brakes

They have since removed all but the 19" packages and are still waiting to test some sizes. Has anyone tried 18"s being I don't want 19"s due to the cost and limited winter tire options. I have since returned the original package and am waiting to find out their results.

After trying to mount the 17"s, they were real close so I assume 18"s would fit???

Thanks,
Brandon

Yes, I had 18 inches Enkei Ammodo rims 18 x8.0 with size 235/45R18 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 which fits perfectly over my F-sport hub and brake calipers.

Good to know! I figured as much. Hoping tire rack gets this figured out sooner than later!

When in doubt, go OEM.

Plenty of OEM 18" wheel sets available on ebay from take-offs. You'd have to have the winter tires mounted separately but thats a one time inconvenience...

More like they gave you the wrong offset, awd and rwd has the same brake caliper only difference is rwd get a 2piece rotor.

Thanks guys! I am hoping to get things straightened out with Tirerack shortly. Regardless, 18"s should fit right?
