Recommendations for engine air filter?
What would you guys recommend? K&N? OEM? I am past due for mine. This is for engine but in-cabin advice would be good too. Thanks!

K&N if you can find one. Generally those are washable and lasts a lifetime. You just have to wash it and lube it periodically.

Air Filter
If you like your engine, use a stock Lexus air filter. I have had K&N filters before and they let a lot of dirt pass thru. I will never use a K&N air filter on any of my cars again. Much more dirt in the intake tube vs stock. Mileage is the same. Power, not enough to matter, if any.
I know, off road racers use them. A regular paper filter probably would not pass any air under the conditions that they race in. They also rebuild their engines after every race. Some are also sponsored by K&N. There are many tests available showing how they let in more dirt. Just Google it.
Just use the stock filter and change it when it starts to look dirty. Filters are cheap!

No performance gain with a K&N till 5K RPM and up where to get a little gain.
MPG claims?
Well with the CAFE regulation number rising,if there was a MPG gain, all vehicle manufacturers would use K&N filter in their vehicles,IMO.
Many people buy a K&N and get the placebo effect.
