Default Looking at buying a 3GS

As the title says, I'm looking to add another Lexus to the family. I had a 98 GS400 in the past so I'm not a stranger to the GS. But I was wondering if there's anything I should watch out for like what years are good or bad. Also if there's any questions I should ask the sellers.

Thanks for your help!

Stay away from 06 GS300, that's pretty much it. The GS460 is extremely rare

I'd say overall the 06-07 gs430s are probably the most reliable, followed by the GS460s, then the 350s. But none are bad choices, each have pros and cons.

You might want to look at the '08+ for the added tech features, but you definitely can't go wrong with an '07.

You just get an Aux input for Ipods hook up etc. Signal lights on Mirrors and very slight cosmetic updates.

For me the 2007 was just fine. Didn't want to pay an extra $2000-$3000 for an 2008. The 2007 had the right mileage and my color combo of choice Gray/Black with Mark Levinson audio.

FYI you can buy a kit to add the Aux feature,

Updated nav system also. Here's a good thread with the comparison:

Like JLAWS said, you really can't go wrong with a 2007.

If you guys that see this article could check out these two cars and let me know what you think. Also is there anything I need to worry about if I get the hybrid?
