Exhaust mods for AWD GS 350
My y pipe from my manifolds is cracked and I had it repaired in two places but the welds broke. I want to upgrade my exhaust from the manifolds back and am looking at the Tanabe Medallion and Invidia midsection. Will this fit my AWD or is it RWD only? Has anyone on here done it to an AWD?

In this thread I posted several years ago... You'll see all the details off my Invidia Mid Pipe after being installed on my GS460 RWD
Attachment 385371
Modifications to the flanges, and O2 bungs had to be made. This part was specifically designed for the RWD GS300 and 350

I am also looking for a cat back upgrade for my 2007 GS 350 AWD. I live in Ontario Canada and have not yet found a bolt on solution. Please let me know if anyone knows where i can find something.

There is no catback upgrades unfortunately. You would need to modify the midpipe in order to make it fit. Not a huge project and most shops can do this.

It's a simple modification that any exhaust shop can do. It does give the car a great sound.

Agreed,
The sound is what has me hooked on the idea. I just wanted to be sure it could be done fairly easy. I will check out some vendor return policies to see if they let me take it back if i cant find a shop that will do the mods...
Thanks for all the input guys!!

I'll save you the trouble with us. As long as the part isn't installed or modified we can accept the return back

I have received my Invida exhaust. I am going to have my fabricator friend attempt to modify the mid pipe in the next few weeks. I do plan on taking as many pictures as possible to help out my fellow GS 350 AWD owners. I was hoping to find some pictures of a completed mid pipe on an AWD but i have not had any luck.

I did some research and at the end of the day, I ordered a OEM Front (Mid Pipe) $1400.00 shipped no tax with heat shields two Cats.. Then I'll go Borla for the axel back.
This turned out to cost effective, due to by the time I purchased a mid pipe, two good Cats and the cost of a muffler shop.
The entire install cost me $128.00..
