My first GS350
Just bought my first ever GS model this week. A 2010 GS350 AWD. Exterior color is Satin Cashmere Metallic (Gold) with tan Parchment Leather and Golden Birds Eye Maple interior. 99k miles. Single owner and Lexus serviced its whole life. Looks beautiful!
Was wondering if there is anything to look out for and what are the overall opinions of this year and model?
A few years ago, I owned a 2005 ES330 and this GS350 seems much more refined and dare I say....sportier?
Happy to hear about any thoughts, opinions, facts, etc. on my car. Will post some photos soon.

Do I understand correctly that this vehicle has a 'timing chain' therefore, no need to replace as one would if it used a 'timing belt"?
Anyone else care to chime in on anything?
I paid $16,700 from a dealer with 99k miles on it. Seemed like a fair price from what I could tell by online prices I was seeing from various places in the country.
Been reading about possible alignment problems and uneven tire wear with the AWD's. Anything I should checkout? I have a 30 day warranty (supposedly) from the dealer (VW/Audi dealer). It does pull a little to the left and they said they would check it out.
Thanks for any input. Pictures to follow.

That is a sweet ride my man. Fair price for great car. Around here, so few of those ever come up it's a sellers market for sure. That car would have brought every penny of that here. I love the colors to, but then again I like pretty much all of their colors.
I just bought an 07 AWD 350 myself today, coming off an ES330. Wow, what a car. Fuel mileage reading had 28.7 on it from a recent road trip he took in it. Was very pleasantly surprised to see that. Hope it holds and wasn't a fluke.

A few years ago I owned an 05' ES330 and sold it after about 1 year cuz my financial situation couldn't justify a car payment. Bought a 2000 Maxima (Nissans are great cars for the budget $, imo) but WOW...what a step up as far as the whole 'driving experience' is concerned. SO comfy and enjoyable to drive. Have always wanted another Lexus since then and really appreciate driving a Lexus again. Hope you have a great experience with your GS.
Car presently has 99k miles on it and I noticed on the 'Lexus Drivers Service History' report:
https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home
@ 71184 miles,
"REPLACE THE CAMSHAFT TIMING
GEAR ASSY DLG CAMPAIGN - . - 71179
650 DLG COMPLETE, REPLACE VVT-I
GEARS".
I take it that this is a recall what I have seen other posts speak of? This is a good thing that it was done then?
I'm REALLY thinking I should maybe have the dealer flush and change the tranny fluid. Anyone have opinions on this? Or, at least a quality indie shop do it? I figure I can handle the other fluids although what about anything to do with the AWD? The AWD surely operates and is used regularly as this is Idaho so we have some snowy, slick roads at times (original and only owner lived in same place as I).
Anyone have any thoughts/opinions/advice on these or other questions I posted in first opening thread?
As always......SUPER appreciaive to all the good feedback. This site has been a tremendous resource of information. "THANKS AGAIN"
