when i got home from work last night i discovered i had this strange noise coming from my gs430. not sure what is it but there was some smoke coming from my passenger side of the motor but i couldnt see what it was exactly due to the night hour. please view the short video clip to see what it could be. thanks!

Not sure if the GS430 has an electric power steering, like the GS350. If not, sounds like your power steering pump is low on fluid.

It could also be a bearing howling somewhere.

It's definitely a bearing for one of the pulleys. Pull the belt off and spin each one by hand.

just last all the lights on my dash and warning sounds and lose of power happen a mile from my house. im leaning towards my alternate crapping out since my cam seal is leaking ever so slightly on the alternator itself. thinking about making a shield for the alternator so this wont happen again until i get the cam seal replaced. but apparently you need to remove so much crap to replace a cam seal in a gs430...
