2010 GS450h Steering Column Rattle
I have had my 2010 GS450h for a few months now and about a month after I bought it, I noticed a faint rattle from the steering column, almost like there is a loose bolt or something. It is getting more noticeable(especially on broken pavement/rough roads) It's annoying and the only issue I have with the car. Anyone have any ideas? I have the Lexus Platinum Warranty and also wanted to know would this repair likely be covered by Lexus or the Lexus dealership I bought the car from? I posted a video, so you guys can take a listen.
Thanks,
John

So it seems that Putnam Lexus took care of the issue for me! I cannot believe the quality of service I received from the dealership! They are forever going to be my go to place for service or any future purchases. The Master Tech Peter actually meet up with me here in San Francisco(we both live in the city) after he got off work so we could drive it around to get it to make the noise. It of course didn't make a peep, but he said he wasn't going to give up just yet, so on Wednesday I dropped it off for him to drive it a couple days and they put me in a loaner. Peter called me yesterday and told me he got it to make the rattle with the heater on full blast and driving on bumpy roads and he adjusted a bolt in the dashboard and thinks it's been fixed. They topped off my gas tank as well! I attached the invoice so you can read what was done.

Thank you, I have an 08 that just started to do this, sounds like it is the steering column area. Will have to look at that. Now to find out where the bolt is and what a dash pad is.

Hey, did you ever go through the fix? I have the exact same problem, exact same noise as per OP video. Will be glad if you share more with me.
