Not all Lexus dealerships are created equal. That being said, changing cabin and engine air filters is something a child could do. Live and learn.

I have a funny one for you. On December 1st I bought a pre-owned 2011 GS 350 AWD with 33,000 miles from a Lexus dealer. The tires were finished, so the dealer HAD to install new tires. He put Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 at the front and some Chinese made tires at the back. Apparently, the Altenzo tires are designed in Australia and made in China on supposedly German equipment. Check out the review for such tires and you will find out that apparently when it is raining and you take a curve, you lose control. Talk about a ****ty dealer. That's ok, I filed a formal complaint with Lexus HQ. I can't tell how they perform in the rain as it has rained since I bought the vehicle 12 days ago.

P.S. You are not supposed to mix tires like that when installing 4 new tires. They should be all the same.

Especially on an AWD. Dealership should have known that, pathetic dost cutting attempt. I guarantee they would recommend all tires match if you were to buy tires from them, especially a proven brand.

Honestly I like my dealership, I just had my spark plugs, brake fluid flushed and tires balanced for $400 on my GS460, which I thought was a good price, what I like about it is how well they treat me, they always tell me my car doesn't need any work done, and I've never had a problem as far as the work so I trust them more working on my car compared to little shops, plus having a loaner new Lexus vs waiting at a normal shop is nice, as well as the lounge and the fact they wash your car and vacuum the floor mats. But I wouldn't go there for filters or oil changes.
