Roof “rain gutter” filler panel cover up by factory?
Spot the difference?
Took the car through an auto car wash this morning & noticed this peeling up. Turns out it peels off just like a sticker / vinyl wrap to reveal this brushed metal the texture underneath!
Other #3GS owners: have you seen this before? And is it okay to leave that exposed? It looks like stainless or brushed aluminum, so it shouldn’t rust… right?

Yeah.. Scotty Kilmer even did a review on Youtube of the 3gs and his only complaint was the paint coming off those strips. I think he basically said why even paint them, they look nice and match the window trim. I think they look fine without the paint, as well. I'd probably peel it all off.
