Default New wheels (20" Vossen) rubbing when cutting the wheel in reverse

Just put on some 20" x 9" Vossen VVS085 with Toyos 245/35/20 and the ride nice except when I cut the wheel while reversing it rubs on the plastic in the wheel well. I Want to drop it but this is making me think twice. Any ideas on what I can do to stop the rubbing aside from getting new tires.

Glad I can post my pics now!

You are rubbing the fender liner that is on the cabin side of the fender. If you turn 3/4 to full lock you should be able to see where it is hitting. You can try using a heat gun to bend the liner out of the way where it is making contact, but I was unsuccessful when trying this. I ended up buying 245/30's, and now have the 245/35's sitting in the garage. Good luck!

pretty much, I have a 225/35 on my fronts and I rub a little on the fender liner. Will downsize whenever I kill the tire.

I agree go with the 225/35/20. I don't rub at all when turning and my car is slammed. The only time I rub is when going over good size bumps while rolling; again my car is super low and you should be fine at that height

I agree with this comment as well. I ran a 225/35 on a 9.5.

looking good.... I agree..go with a 225 35.. member clos430 just put that size on his Vossens and no more rubbing.. You have have to cut out some of the fender liner...

I'm running 245/35 in the front with very little rubbing after heating the liner and pushing it where I wanted.

I'm going to give that a try... Can you give me a step by step on how you heated it and made the adjustments.
