Default Broke Side mirror glass :(

I was trying to install led bulbs for the puddle light under the side mirrors.

The passenger side was successful.
The drivers side was bit difficult trying to pull it out.
After pulling it out I changed the bulb and when attempting to put the mirror back in place I was having a very hard time! So i put little pressure/force and the glass cracked from the middle.
I think my mistake was cause I put to much force on the middle of the glass.

I called 2 lexus dealerships for the glass only they both quoted me $400-$450!!

I think thats a crazy price. Where would you guys think I can get ahold of this glass for a cheaper price.

Its a 2010 gs350.

Thanks for all the feedbacks!
Uploaded 2 pictures. First picture successful attempt. Second picture damaged glass

Be careful because the mirrors are filled with some gunk (for self-dimming) that damages car paint. For the replacement try either ebay or http://car-part.com/

Someone once stole the driver side mirror glass from my 2GS. Just the glass. I called the dealership and they wanted $300+ just for the glass!

I ended up finding a replacement regular glass on eBay that fit perfectly onto the 2GS mirror for like $20.

I got it fixed today for $25

The worker told me that my mirrors were not heated he checked online and it showed my cars year GS 350 mirror do not come with heated mirrors.

Not even sure how the heated mirrors even work though I paid $25 they replaced the glass and it looks same as the passenger side. So I'm satisfied. Saved $500

Glad it got it resolved brother! It is auto-dimming, so I hope the auto-dim feature works... If not, at least you still have a mirror that works in general hahaha

Not really sure if it is standard on the GS 350 or not but he checked the mirror and said if it is heated mirror it has a sign on the mirror. Anyways I told him how much he said $25, I thought why not lets give it a try and they put it on in less than 15-20minutes. It looks the same as passenger side mirror.

Regarding the auto dimming... I don't see any difference... So Im not sure lol.. Agh Im happy thought I got my puddle lights and fixed mirror !
(Will post some pictures of the puddle light)

My dealer ordered the part for $404 + installation + tax = total $485.

They think Im going to be bringing my vehicle in. NOT
