13.9-14.1, does this sound about right for our cars?
I was having a discussion with my buddy about various cars and there specs. He asked me, so what does my GS run in the 1/4 mile? I had to think about it for a sec.... I honestly didn't have a clue what our cars run. I looked real quick on the phone, not much out there for a 07-11 GS350 1/4 mile times. Would any of you guys know? With its HP and torque figure i would assume a high 13 sec or low 14? Am i even close or way off?

High 14s? It definitely surpasses it (except the 300's, and even worse, the 300 AWD models).
13.8? Iunno, maybe from a launch, it has the AWD advantage, but that's all I see. From a stop, a 450h > 430 > 350, all RWD respectively.
I know because I've raced both cars.. Haven't had the priviledge to race a 460 though, so I can't say much .
Let me tell you, the 450h just GLIDES past me from start to finish like I didn't matter...... I'd be surprised if the 350 broke 14 even.
I believe there was someone running a 450h on this very forum at the track, and he only managed to get 13.8 out of that....
Hope the above gave you a bit more insight.
Can't agree with you more here GS-F, a track night's what.... $15 nowadays? Shouldn't be too much, and every location and it's atmosphere predicts how YOUR car runs .

Make sure you come with a charged battery! Otherwise you'll lose quite a bit of performance!! Remember, I'm not sure if it was 13.8, it was only a guestimate.... the 07 450h definitely ate my v8 alive...... EASILY! (he even gave me a 1-2 car length headstart too afterwards)

Anything else I should do? I was thinking of cleaning the throttle body, new air filter and maybe spark plugs. Im sure it will be negligible, but I would like to be as well prepared as I can be.

It should be fine since it's like an hour away, but I will try to conserve as much of it as I can.

Just don't leave that gas hanging in there too long (dilute it with normal gas after your race) as it will corrode and eat your gas lines if you leave it in.
A few members here have had really bad lucky in related applications, but they're more towards FI.

Thanks guys for all chiming in. So basically a 14.0-14.1 1/4 mile is expected out of a 350, 13.8-13.9 for the awd 350 and V8 counterparts.
If one would put stickier tires and had a healthy launch out the hole, its possible for a 350 to dip into the high 13 mark, key word possible.
I would take mine to the track , but all I have around me is a 1/8 mile.

That sounds great! Before your run, about a tank before, run gas cleaner. If you're also feeling dicey, near the end of the tank You can drop in Race gas..... About a few gallons should do since the track is about an hr away lol. That should hopefully give you a good edge on performance.

Make sure after every few runs you reset the ECU, so that it doesn't LEARN and starts leaning out your car while you're purging LOL!

Purging sprays nitrous out into the air so im not sure what your getting at there. But I have a separate fuel souce and injector for fueling. I also have an AEM standalone and a fields piggy back i may use.
