3. I just upgrade my iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5. the 4s connected the car bluetooth perfectly fine, but then the iPhone 5 always fail. Went to Apple Store used that as a perfect excuse to replace me a brand new iPhone 5 but it still giving me the same issue. (this is important since I like having my phone connected to car bluetooth, my Galaxy Note 2 works perfectly fine)
5. what do you guys do with this epic compartment? nothing can fit in there.

Alright guys, I finally got my iphone to pair. I had to boot my phone in safe mode to pair but once it had paired, everything works as it should. Just wanted to put the info out there in case anyone else has a similar issue.

Maybe only doable on jailbroken units. You can power up holding the volume up button or cydia apps like SBsettings will allow it as well. As it turns out though, something running in the background blocks the initial pairing. Seeing as I couldn't pair two other non-jailbroken iPhone 5's either, I'll assume it's an iOS issue.

Guys, try searching cleaning supply store for an aerosol product that is primarily a disinfectant (not simply a Febreeze). It's usually used in the medical field and smells like mint. Turn on your air conditioning and shoot it in the cabin air intake (you, of course, have to set it to OUTSIDE AIR, not recirculate). Cycle through all of the different modes of air venting (doing it with a friend helps). Don't shoot too much in at a time, because you don't want a build-up of propellant in the system (boom). Do it with your windows open as well.
It's the same protocol as buying a smoker's car. Detailing shops usually have some type of industrial disinfectant spray, too.

Go to your auto parts store and purchase an AC Disinfectant called Ozium that's in an aerosol can. Worked like a charm, made the AC smell fresh and got rid of all the musky smell.
