As the name implies I recently got my GS. I still have my 07 TL type S and my carputer just chillin waiting for a buyer.
I was wondering if anyone has attempted a set up similar to what I had in the TL but in a GS or any other lexus running similar nav hardware.

In the TL, the nav was what Im assuming has to be universal, a display and a touch overlay. The touch overlay was 4wire resistive and I tapped into that with a usb controller. The display used a low resolution rgbs signal. I ebayed a vga to rgbs converter and put that and the usb controller on 2 relays so all I had to do was flip the switch from stock touchscreen nav to touchscreen carputer.

If anyone can confirm (or deny) this is how the Lexus navigation works please let me know.

Any scans from an ETM from the nav would help me plan or cancel this project.

I'll let you know when i complete my instalI. Problem is finding a clean signal GVIF to VGA converter.
I have just about all the links to acurazine those guys are way ahead of Lexus When it comes to mods.
What year is your gs?
