Default A few pics of My 2006 GS300

Here are a few pictures of my 2006 GS300. I took the stock wheels and powder coated them matte black. In addition, I also purchased black chrome emblems and tinted my windows a darker shade. I am looking to do some more additions somewhere down the road, maybe something with the calipers or to a new exhaust.

Any suggestions?

I'm not a fan of blacked out wheels but if ya gotta do it, do it with stockers. Good move.

I agree with the black roof thing....to match the wheels.

If we were to go that dark in the DC area we would be arrested.

+2 on teh roof +1 on the wheels

I would also tint the head lights and the tails. White is a great color on these cars

The good thing about powder coating , is at the place I had them done, they can Also sandblast them, and totally remove the cost, bringing it back to its original state. Was told they have done that . Haven't personally seen it, but reassuring if true...

As for the tinting, it loos way darker in these photos than real life. It is medium shade on the driver and passenger windows, and dark in the back, no tint on the front window of course. However, having beige interior does lighten the tint up a bit. These pictures were taken
Close to dark, so yeah it does look very dark.

Not bad. DO NOT tint the roof black though. If I was you, I would lower it and paint the calipers silver or white just to break up all the black on the wheels.

Welcome to CL!

Very nice start... I've never seen blacked OEM wheels, but they look good with the white paint. +1 on the black roof too

Not a bad start, I agree black vinyl roof or paint, but I think you should ditch the stock black go for some 19" all black rims.

I would, but I just don't think I have the money to afford new rims and tires entirely. Unless you know of somewhere to look for decent prices?
