Advice - about to buy a 2007 GS300
I am overseas so we don't get the 350 v6 out here...It's a 2007 gs300 with the automatic tranny, park sensors, xenons.
I am buying from an offbrand dealer and I want to make sure that I am getting all the docs, keys and such that should come with the car:
1) how many keys should the car have (it has a stop/start button)?
2 transponder units--are there still master keys for this car?
2) addition stuff--manual, service book, anything else?
3) in the trunk - full-size spare, tools, anything else?
4) any last piece of advice?
Thanks in advance

well 2007 is the first year lexus came out with GS350 and that car should come with two key fobs, which means two remotes. Yes it is good to get the owners manual but i would check out the carfax and services history before buying the car. You can call your local lexus dealership and have the service history looked up. The GS350 does not come with a full size spare. Tools and donut spare is a must to have. The last peace of advices is do your home work and find out what the cars are selling for in the current market.

1)It should come with at least 2 keys/key fobs (keys are "built" in)
2) ^^ See answer above
3) A car manual would be a plus but since its an off brand dealership...not sure.
3) My 2007 GS350 has a spare along with tools and a first aid kit
4) Advice: Do your research on the car, and call a Lexus dealership with the VIN number to check for service and recalls/TSBs that have been done. Please have a mechanic look over the car.
Note: Mine was a CPO......Goodluck!!

carfax/history is always big for me... and dont get caught up in the car buying "jitters" everyone gets excited when they are buying a new or new used vehicle and tend to overlook things and seek them out two weeks later after there is no turning back. Look everything over, even take a peek underneath (crazy story behind that one) and make your decision after you have carefully looked at everything.
