Default Manheim for '06 GS300

hey guys
curious if anyone here can provide me with info on what an 06 GS300, no nav, with 42600 miles fetches at Manheim auctions.

South Florida area

trying to figure out how much we should ask for a trade-in

Thank You!

I have but my understanding is NADA and KBB don't exactly reflect what the cars go for at the auctions

The dealer offered $17500 which is much much lower than KBB, NADA or even Black Book

Manheim is the auto dealer's gold standard in determining wholesale value (auction value).

$17500 for an 06 with +42k miles sounds quite fair for auction/wholesale/Manheim values.

maybe but that's not what I'm seeing
I just found usacarsearch.ru which supposedly has the latest sales from Manheim and some site called OVE.com

A GS300 with 84,663 miles sold on 12/03 with a 2 rating for $18,450 in Davie, FL near me. And one from Lexus Financial at Manheim Orlando, FL with 41,319 miles for $21,300 with a 4 rating! Tho I think the auction hasn't even closed yet on that one, it shows as 12/13/2010

Our car is just off lease, it had only $160 in wear and tear, the bank is asking $17k from dealer so we can trade it in so I'm guessing the dealer is low balling us with the $500 "bonus". They have the same GS300 for +$27k CPO and an awd version with 37k miles for almost $30k, hence why I came here to ask

OVE.com is a Registered Manheim Dealers auction, that is were I found my GSh.

As for the value of your GS300 depending on condition and without looking at it I'd say it is worth about $19-19,500 on trade in.

I wasn't able to find the one you speak of in Orlando but did see these that have run recently.

11/23/10 LAUD/MIA Regular $17,350 119,958 Avg BLACK 6G A Yes
11/23/10 FAAO Regular $19,800 58,908 Avg SILVER 6G A Yes
11/30/10 FAAO Regular $18,000 72,520 Avg RED 6G A Yes
11/30/10 BISHOP B Regular $16,700 102,082 Below SILVER 6G A Yes
12/02/10 ATLANTA Regular $18,600 88,668 Avg WHITE 6G A Yes
12/03/10 LAUD/MIA Regular $16,700 128,686 Below BLACK 6G A Yes

Take your car to Carmax and have them give you a written quote and then take that to the dealer and tell them this is what you want for your car if they want to make the deal.

No, my dad and brother have a dealer license here in FL. They bought the car for me and I bought it from them.

thank you passnu2 and Jherb350

the car is fine except 2 scratches, one on the back bumper and one on left side from some *** who hit my car with their door probably. We're also about 13,000 miles under what's allowed and that's with going to and from Seattle. So it's not like it's some beat up clunker

I understand why the dealer is doing what they're doing but still, and I already got burned once by them when they inflated their "internet" price by $2500 until I went home and looked up their site by accident.

CarMax is what I thought about too, will go today and see what happens.

thx guys

your welcome....just note your going into a season change so MMR numbers are going to be a little off. MMR numbers can also be higher for high line cars. So for your car dont be surprised if your getting under MMR numbers. I can tell you that Honda product, on average, sells for 2k or more over book. Its you against 30 others that need or want that car for the lot or a customer.
