I simply prefer the cleaner look of a Lexus with either no front badge or a black pearl one. (now if I could just get to modifying the car to complete the damn look)

Most non car people think I'm nuts taking the Lexus emblem off. "Mike, why would you do that to a Lexus". Valid point I suppose?

I always liked having the manufacturer spelled out in a grill like that.. For example, having a blacked out "LEXUS" emblem in the middle

It makes the car look unfinished. The big L is the final touch to the car, just so complimentary to it.

don't listen to what they have to say, it looks awesome. I would leave it the way it is because it is way cleaner.

With the L off the Blitz CF grill, I'll black out the windows' chrome trim pieces too. Maybe add dark color wheels to complete it.
