06 Gs300 60k Whats A Good Price?
Guys I have 27k to spend ,and am looking at a 06 is250 or maybe a 06 Gs300. Their is a 06 gs300 awd navi with 60k on it for 29900 , whats a fair price to offer on the Gs? I am not sure if I really want the car since it has such high miles but its all the features I am looking for.

Who gives a ****!!! get the GS. i took my car in a couple weeks ago to get the brake pad upgrade done and they gave me an IS. NOT happy with it at all!!
its a great car and all..........its just not anywhere in the same ballpark as the GS. The list is LONG of reasons i'd rather own a GS car. DO IT, you'll be happy!!

I wouldn't go for it.
As nice as the GS is, it isn't the GS350 (I would have done it for the GS350), and the high mileage just calls for high maintenance as soon as you take it over.
For $27k, I would look at lower mileage IS250/350, or even a second-gen GS300 with less mileage (with more modding capabilities).
Are you looking for luxury or sport? You can get better sport for that type of money, but if you're looking for luxury, you may have to go with a used car...

I think you guys are right, im gonna pass on the gs. I am probably gonna get the is 250 instead. I realize im gonna have to sink quite a bit of money into the gs and its probably not worth it. I have had a 04 tsx , and a 04 tl and its time to come back to a lexus. My tl,tsx both rattled like tin cans. My 2nd gen gs was built like a brick s%ithouse , which is why i want to come back to the lexus family.

I would probably give the GS300 a shot. It is a $48,000 dollar car with nav and you are gonna get it for under thirty and the GS is going to keep this body style for at least another 4 years. Even if you have to replace the brakes and do some maintance, I think that you still make out in the long run. The GS is in another league compared to the IS and TSX. I have driven all three. Good Luck.
