The elusive white on black GS 350... where?
Got a sage green 06 IS 250 and am ready to upgrade to a 07 GS that has the starfire pearl (white) with the black exterior...
My dealer up here (Seattle area) said that there were no cars being made like that for us - but they could try and special order it.
Is there even a chance in hell that anyone has this exact color combination or that it is - or may be available sometime in the future?
What's the story on that?

Each region orders the cars they see fit. Back in late 2002 I was told that I could have my GS430 in any color I wanted as long as it was black on black. I called bull and called Lexus corporate - they laughed and then looked up the production and said "oh your dealer is correct, there are no colors other than that".

I just did the built your lexus on the site and with my zip code, the starfire pearl comes with all three interior color choices. what this means is... even if your region doesn't have starfire pearl/granite, you can have your dealer request a trade with another dealer in a different region that has it (i.e. my dealer) and get your car.

Bottom line is that they need to build more white on black units. Forget this white on beige grossness (no offense to those who have it). Personally I don't see myself in a beige leather vehicle ever.

When i was getting my gs all i ever could find was a white with black interior around the southeast area. Im from SC and had to go all the way to Georgia to find a white with beige with the color wood i wanted. I use to have black interior in my older lexus and hated it(just showed wear easy and also the heat out hear in the south made you not want to get in it even with tint) But hey we all got our opinions! I think the tan interior with the wood looks more stylish and expensive than the black with black marble. That black marble looked cheap in my opinon! Just my opinion, not trying to offend anyone!

Nope.... my local dealer said there were only 10 white gs 350's in the pipeline for the month... none had the black interior.
Of course, they said they'd be happy to take a 5000 non-refundable deposit on a special order at full msrp... I said no thanks.

When I purchased my GS last month I too was in the market for the white w/ black interior. Couldnt find any so I bought my second choice Black Saphire w/ black interior. My sister has the white with grey interior and it looks pretty good to me. Cashmere interior IMO is for old people.
