GS 350 Nav vs. LS 460 Nav?
I am trying to decide -- and probably will keep trying to decide for the next 3-6 months -- between a GS 350 and an LS 460.
Does anyone know how the navs compare? Sure, one (GS) is DVD based and one (LS) is HDD based, but this is just an implementation issue. Forgetting about the ability to record audio tracks on an LS with ML, what are the other differences, if any, between the two systems?

yes larger display screen, and smoother scrolls than the DVD with the HDD, a little better defintion as well.
But are you comparing the cars on the NAV screen solely?
Personaly the LS is a little boaty for my pref. I got the opportunity to drive the LS 460 around a track in Chicago a few months ago, and although it handles better than it's brothers in cars, it in no way compares to the AAAS the 450h has. It is more comparable to the sportyness of a GS350, with a better highway suspension feel.

it is boaty. I tracked it once. not like a buick, but still feels top heavy and lots of body roll, compared to my 450h with AAAS.
But you can't comapre gadgets. They LS wins there no questions.
My next car once I have some little ones running around might be the LS, as long as I can still have a sporty car of some kind.
