This would be a very predictable CL Poll...
of course. I would like to see an IS460 for that matter. I wouldn't say it would be an Acuraesque failure as they don't have a V8 class sedan to begin with. You make the point MPLexus301 for Lexus executives when they can produce a Hybrid performance V6 that has equivalent passing power of a V8 and sips gas like a 4 cyl who will buy the V8?

It simply doesn't make sense...they'd be better off to stop making it all together and just sell the GS 350 and GS 450h, and not having a V8 in this segment would be a very Acura-esque thing to do, read : FAILURE. They already have the "GS 460" name trademarked anyway.
So I guess the final lineup will be ~306HP GS 350, ~335HP GS 450h, ~380HP GS 460?

The GS350 is supposed to be out soon (the subject of this thread) and looks to have about the same HP as the GS430. In Hawaii, the 245hp of the GS300 is more than enough for me. I barely even get to stretch the legs of my car as it is right now! I do enjoy 26-28 mpg though which is a HUGE improvement over the 16 mpg that I got with my old 4Runner.
yea that's true.. but i did like the GS 430 V8...
