Just got my gs 300 awd (How do I remove pinstripes)
I just got my car today off the truck (bought in fl and got it in nj). I got it fully loaded and crome spider wheels. I love everything but one major problem.....
It has pin stripes on the side.... Is there a way to remove them? Do you think a dealer can or auto body without repainting car? (please give me hope) thanks

Thank god I love my car so much but the lame pin strips on the side kinda ruin the car (even tho there tiny). So pin stripes are just stickers basically? Will the dealer do it?

When we got our Jade Green '95 GS it appeared with gold pin stripes on the side. I wrinkled up my nose and the sales women immediately started to pick them off to show me that they can be removed easily since it was new. She had their shop take them off and buff it out so there was no residue or indication of them being on there.

If it's a sticker use your fingernail or a plastic scraper to get an edge up. Use a hair dryer to heat a section of the sticker a bit and peel it back. Heat up the next section, peel, repeat. Shouldn't leave a residue this way.
