Default Ordering from SRT Website

Has anyone recently ordered from SRT? I remember seeing a few threads about how SRT couldn't be reached. I tried emailing them, but got undelivered messages. I wanted to order a replacement filter from them. I bought a used SRT intake for my GS400 a few years back and it came with a Spectre filter. I recently noticed that it sounded like it was having a hard time sucking in air. I was going to clean it, but figured I'd go ahead and buy a replacement instead. Would you guys suggest buying an SRT replacement or any filter will do? The site says they have the non oiled ones. I have no idea what the difference is between oiled and non oiled filters. I've never oiled the Spectre filter and am now worried that it might've affected something.

I had a hard time reaching him last year but, when I finally did he sent me a AFE Power dry filter for mine. It works great ðŸ‘. Try contacting AFE and see if they can hook you up.

I'm not sure about SRT anymore, I had purchased things directly from Moe via email in the past, never from the website. But has been over 2 years now since the last purchase, I've seen mention on different forums that it seems they are either closing shop or have become unreliable. But can't say either way, only that my past experiences were no issues with the company.

Otherwise, There are much better filters available out there. And a high quality Dry filter is the way to go these days. The Apex-i is one of the top filtering ones you can get, as is the Fujita F5, AEM Dry Flow, and the Blitz SUS.. I would defiantly recommend just buying one of these cone filters to replace the Spectre with those as they are the best Dry filters you can get..

I just order an Amsoil filter a couple days ago, haven't installed it yet so I can't give a review. From what I read they give great flow with great filtration.

Is there a specific size I have to get or would a universal one do?

Was searching up the ones you listed and this came up for the Fujita: https://www.amazon.com/SPECTRE-8136-...ords=fujita+f5

Ok, looks like Fujita has closed it's doors as the website is gone. Been a few years since I've bought any. They were great filters and essentially the same design and filter media design as the APEX-i but half the price. There's still plenty on ebay here is the 3.5" http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fujita-F5-Su...9Sa0Yo&vxp=mtr

I run the Blitz SUS on my GS now, they are about $100, APEX-i are pricey also, but the AEM DryFlow is a great filter and a bit cheaper.

All cones are universal. You just need to know the pipe diameter your going to clamp it onto. I believe the GS300 SRT was 3" and the GS400/430 SRT was 3.5" but I'm not 100% as I've never owned an SRT intake pipe.

Yeah thanks Brian, the link got cut off, I fixed it.

I am now presuming they are left over stock. But $25 is a steal as they used to be between $50-$80 for the different sizes.

Just got the fujita in and installed it right away. Had a bit of a scare when I couldn't get the flange around the pipe, but turns out it's a pretty snug fit.
